Those of us interested in historical accuracy, integrity of linguistics, political impartiality, and non-proliferation of international disputes, naturally would insist that this body of water be named correctly. The Persian Gulf is part of the identity of the people who live in the Iranian plateau for well over 25 centuries. The people with an Iranian background including British and American nationals, while respecting the multicultural mosaic of their adopted country, cherish their heritage and ancestral identity. In this light, it is very important to be accurate and to demonstrate the recognition of the international law regarding this matter. I hereby request immediate action to rectify the mistake and to clarify to the public that the accurate internationally recognised name that the United Nations as well as the United State and Her Majesty's Government have all endorsed and recognised as the only and official name of the body of water which lies between the Iranian Plateau and the Arabian Peninsula as the Persian Gulf, and any adjective other than 'Persian' or absent thereof to modify the name is inaccurate, misrepresentative, offensive and unacceptable. I will be grateful if you kindly acknowledge the receipt of this email and I look forward to see your respected organisation adopting the correct naming convention on all its materials, printed or online in the future and take the necessary practical measures in order to prevent such an offensive act taking place in the future. Respectfully Yours, . . . . .نام و نام خانوادگی . . . . . فراموش نشود ---------- جسیکا دوناتی بورن، نویسنده گزارش و کسی که نام خلیج فارس را در رویترز تحریف کرده است! باری، این گزارش توسط انگلیسی بنام "ریچارد مالبی" ویرایش شده است. باحتمال زیاد مالبی بوده است که نام دروغین را به نوشته اضافه کرده است، زیرا وی از دوستان نزدیک خاندان آل سعود است و در سال چندین بار به عربستان و قطر و امارات سفر میکند -------------------
